Brad Reeves

Linux. KDE. Open Source. Refuses to own an iPod. Drives a Mini Cooper. Brad's a Senior Content Engineer at OpenLogic but get this: he's also been a ski patrol guy, basketball coach, line cook, and trainer at HP (for starters). Brad has earned his guru status, and - if you want something done? Folks actually refer to him as the "office do-er of everything". Cooks veggies in all manner of delicious ways, but eats only meat. Able to benchpress any given 17 year old. This guy? Totally deserves the superman logo and if it weren't for that pesky copyright, we'd give it to him. In color.

Content Team

The content team. Where to begin? On three continents, we write metadata, research licenses, create custom builds, handle certifications and implementations before lunch, and without whining. We organize and edit all the nifty, informative articles on Wazi, too. Between us we own one horse, 10 dogs, 3 cats, a coupla geckos and just under a half-dozen fish. None of them are allowed in the conference room while we're busy maintaining the edge that is OLEX Open Source Content Development.

Dave McLoughlin

Dave's kind of an all-around type of person. His life is full. This is Dave: he was drafted into OpenLogic in December 2006 and as of this moment he's handling technical sales, product manager of content for the OpenLogic Certified Library, and Managing the OpenLogic Expert Community. Yes, that last role is all caps, and we mean it. We're on pins & needles waiting to see what he'll take on next. Did we mention that he plays the trumpet (and the flugelhorn)? Very well, in fact, and regularly. With a symphony. What a guy!

Devon Jones

Despite the fact that Devon is a native Coloradan, he currently codes in the Big Apple where he's a Software Architect. A mountain climber with no mountains (Skyscrapers aren't quite the same...and are off-limits, turns out. Long story.), Devon soothes himself with extra hours at Knewton Inc, an educational software start-up, hacking with his homies over at NYC Resistor, talking to anyone who will listen about the sense and sensibility of using open source licenses for more than just software, and doing his part for digital freedom.

Eric Weidner

Eric Weidner is Senior Development Manager and Co-Founder of OpenLogic. On any given day, you might find him in the server closet re-configuring switches or leading a content team meeting with his trademark laid back style. (We like to call him "Thorazine".) Trained as a mechanical engineer, Eric began his career as a product design engineer and project manager with a small engineering consulting firm where he pioneered the use of emerging web technologies to improve communications with both clients and team members during the project life cycle. He had so much fun that he left CAD systems behind and jumped fulltime into Java and J2EE development. These days, he grooves on the myriad ways that Open Source projects (and people) can be made to play nicely together. If you're ever skiing in Colorado, Eric may be the guy sliding by, on his back, as he works to integrate himself onto Project Snowboard.

Kimberly McClintock

Kimberly is absolutely fabulous, in every way. Before striking out on her own to pursue a career in writing, she led the technical writing team at OpenLogic that's responsible for all technical content on the OLEX site, as well as the the selection, editing, coordination, and management of content here at Wazi. She's developed content for lots of different audiences - teachers and students and salespeople, to name a few - over the course of her career, but nothing's been as much fun as writing about Open Source. She's a heckuva cook, has an enormously varied vocabulary, and you might justifiably be fearful of her dog, a big girl named Lola.

Veljko Krunic

Not only did Veljko emigrate to the US from Serbia, his idea of fun involves some fairly extreme environments: he's happiest gliding about at high altitude (through the clouds, we mean, in a teeny tiny lightweight glider plane, while the rest of us clutch at our parachutes and gape through the window of the tow-plane) or flippering through the ocean depths dependent on canned air (scuba). We know he's intrepid. So, that's two things, 'cause we also know he's smart. He's working away at a Ph.D in CS from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he's already gained his BS and MS in the same field. Veljko can be reached at veljko.krunic at openlogic dot com.
