Is anybody here aware of other independent reviews of open source tools for agile product management? Been googling a bit, but it seems there are not too many around. The intent behind the tool listing at UserStories.com is good, but so far, it does not provide much in the line of independent assessments...

I manage an open source scrum based agile project management tool called Express at sourceforge. Project home page is http://agileexpress.sourceforge.net. It has a flex based UI and a Java EE server. I would be really pleased if you would include it in your reviews here.

Great, really detailed analysis of these products.

If any of your readers are looking for a more lightweight and hosted agile project management tool - please take a look at http://brightgreenprojects.com.

Bright Green was built from the ground up by a team of developers, scrum masters and analysts and includes many of the desirable features detailed in this analysis. Our most basic plan is free!

hi,

I am here to share the tool, I am developing: XPlanner Plus.
I see you know, XPlanner, so XPlanner Plusl is based on it and has new and improved features, such as new design, email notifications for task's status and regenerate charts button.
It's ready for use and the current releases can be downloaded on sf.net New features are under intensive development.

Just a short information regarding Agilo and Multiple Backlogs.
You can create more than one Product Backlog and Projects.
Depending on your server environment you can either use multiple trac environments or just create different items in order to work with more than one backlog.

Have fun with Agilo

This is the first time I've seen an honest comparison of Agile Software. Most of the posts out there are about one product (with no comparison whatsoever to other products) and are most written to just promote this product.

Thanks again and hopefully you will do a bigger one on online PM tools.
