  • Firefox 2.0.0.17 and earlier

Description:

The nsXMLHttpRequest::NotifyEventListeners method in affected versions of Firefox allows remote attackers to bypass the same-origin policy and execute arbitrary script via multiple listeners, which bypass the inner window check.

Resolution and Availability of Patch:

This issue can be addressed by updating Firefox to version 3.0.4 or version 2.0.0.18, both of which are currently available in the OLEX Certified Library.
