  • Firefox 3.0.3 and prior
  • Firefox 2.0.0.17 and earlier

Description:

Affected versions of Firefox do not properly escape quote characters used for XML processing, allows remote attackers to conduct XML injection attacks via the default namespace in an E4X document.

Resolution and Availability of Patch:

This issue can be addressed by updating Firefox to version 3.0.4 or version 2.0.0.18, both of which are currently available in the OLEX Certified Library.
