Committed to Your Privacy

OpenLogic is committed to user privacy. This privacy statement pertains to all information provided by users, including information provided on the sites www.openlogic.com and olex.openlogic.com, Web properties of OpenLogic, Inc. This policy communicates how we gather and utilize information about our users, how we protect it and how users can change it and participate in its protection.

Notification of Changes

If we change our privacy policy, notification of those changes will be posted on www.openlogic.com and olex.openlogic.com.

Information Gathered by OpenLogic

OpenLogic collects two kinds of information about visitors: 1) data volunteered by users in order to sign up for services, register for events, download information, and subscribe to mailing lists; and 2) tracking data collected when users interact with our website. OpenLogic is the sole owner of all information collected including registration information and contact information.

Personal Information

Personal information collected by OpenLogic is for the sole use of OpenLogic and will not be given away, sold or displayed to others for any reason with the exception of business partners as described below. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we need to disclose personal information required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on our website.

Tracking Information

OpenLogic analyzes all visitors' use of our website by tracking information such as downloads, page views, traffic flow, search terms and click-through rates. This information is used to improve our website. This information will also be used for lead qualification when a casual visitor registers. We may also share or publish anonymous traffic and demographic information in aggregate form. We will not share or publish any information that can identify an individual user.

How OpenLogic Uses Information

OpenLogic uses the information provided to set up services and provide information, to qualify sales leads and to contact customers and prospects to further discuss their interest in our company, the services we provide and ways we can improve them. We will send information such as customer newsletters and product update information. Users can opt-out of receiving these communications by following the instructions in the "Opt-Out" section below.

Business Partners

OpenLogic has partnerships with third-party companies and individuals ("Business Partners"). OpenLogic and Business Partners may share customer contact as well as account, financial and billing information with respect to their joint business relationship with the customer. This sharing of information allows OpenLogic and Business Partners to establish the identity of the shared customer in order to deliver joint services or determine referral fees.

Other third parties, such as content providers, may provide information on an OpenLogic Web site, but OpenLogic prohibits them from collecting any information, nor does OpenLogic share any personally identifiable user information with these parties.

Cookies

Cookies are files Web browsers place on a computer's hard drive. They are used to help OpenLogic authenticate clients and provide timesaving shortcuts and preferences. OpenLogic uses both persistent and session cookies. If a user requests it, persistent, encrypted cookies are used to save and retrieve individual authentication information as well as other per-client device preferences. Persistent cookies are also used to qualify sales leads.

When a visitor follows a link to the OpenLogic Web site from an affiliate or promotion, OpenLogic stores information about that affiliate or promotion in a session cookie. Acceptance of these cookies is optional. OpenLogic issues a mandatory session cookie to each user to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session.

Third Party Sites

The OpenLogic website contains links to other sites. OpenLogic is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. We encourage users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
