Need Xalan support? OpenLogic provides Production and Developer support for hundreds of the most popular open source packages, including Xalan.

Description:

The most common XSLT processing engine, Xalan is now included as part of JDK 1.4. XSLT processors use XSL stylesheets to transform XML into another form, such as HTML, XHTML, another XML dialect, or some other formatted text style. As an example, documenters commonly generate HTML from DocBook XML source using DocBook XSL.

When dealing with XML, XSLT processors are a necessity, and Scarab uses Xalan, as well as other open source projects. There are many alternatives, including Saxon.
