Version 1.6.4 provides users with three bug fixes, including a critical fix. They are:

  • A resolution to a 100% CPU loop hang under simultaneous HashMap calls in the ClassMap implementation.
  • A fix to make the org.apache.velocity.runtime.RuntimeInstance initialization thread safe.
  • A repair to prevent the Engine from generating a NullPointerException if the IncludeEventHandler returns null.
