Version 8.1.19 is a minor update providing users with bug fixes. Two security bugs have also been fixed in this release. Users should note these changes:

  • A corrected security flaw in SSL authentication.
  • A fix to a privilege escalation vulnerability with expression indexes.
  • A fix that prevents a crash following integer overflow in hash table size calculation.
  • A repair to prevent a server restart if a VACUUM FULL is killed.
  • A resolution to a cache initialization start-up bug.
  • An update to the time zone data for nine regions.
