Version 5.2.10 improves the stability of PHP 5.2.x by providing over 100 bug fixes and enhancements. One of the fixes is security related. The list of changes includes:

A repair to a security vulnerability where exif_read_data() segfaults on certain corrupted .jpeg files.
Fixes to memory corruptions while reading the properties of ZIP files.
Repairs to memory leaks in ob_get_clean and ob_get_flush.
A patch to a segfault on an invalid session.save_path.
Fixes to leaks in IMAP when a mail_criteria is used.
The addition of an "ignore_errors" option to the HTTP fopen wrapper.
