This new MySQL release contains several bug fixes and improvements. They include:

A fix that prevents mysqlslap from dropping the schema at the end of a test run.
A fix that prevents replication from failing when updating a column.
A fix that prevents InnoDB from invoking zlib functions without proper initialization.
A repair to avoid rejected client connections on Windows when no DNS server is available.
A change to allow mysql_upgrade to properly upgrade the authentication_string column of the mysql.user table.
