Version 5.0.87 furnishes users with several bug fixes and improvements. Some of the changes are:

The server no longer crashes when attempting to create a table with the same name as an existing view.
A memory leak no longer occurs when EXPLAIN comes across a malformed query.
The server no longer crashes when reusing outer column references in correlated subqueries.
The server no longer ignores the setting of sync_frm for CREATE TABLE...LIKE.
Client flags are now correctly initialized for the embedded server, which prevents jp test suite failures.
