Version 5.0.67 is a security and bug fix release which replaces version 5.0.51b. Please see the Security Notifications on the sidebar for more detailed information on the security issues.

Some of the version highlights include:

A security fix for three vulnerabilities in yaSSL versions 1.7.5 and earlier that could lead to a server crash or execution of unauthorized code.
Expanded security options which enable stricter control over the location from which user-defined functions can be loaded.
The FEDERATED storage engine is now disabled by default in the .cnf files contained in distributions.
Replication has been introduced to record every transaction (including AUTOCOMMIT transactions) in the binlog.
