Description:

JPam creates a bridge between Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) and Java. Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, HP-UX and other Unix systems all use PAM as a standard security architecture. The designers report that JPam has been extensively production tested.

JPam includes some files derived from Linux-Pam which are licensed under BSD or, alternatively, GPL.

Usage Notes:

With JPam, you can use PAM security authentication in your Java applications. Additionally, JPam features the Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS) and direct APIs.
