Version 1.4.2_06 contains significant bug fixes, including:

  • A Null Pointer Exception if JFileChooser.setCurrentDirectory() is called twice with a non-canonical file.
  • JVM crashes during the deoptimization phase.
  • A Null Pointer Exception in reading an rtf-file into javax.swing.text.rtfRTFEdito.
  • Regression of 4683022 fails for 1.4.2_06-b01.
  • Regression of 4937429 for 1.4.2_06b1 fails due differences in the cacerts in Javaws and the security directories.
