Description:

A log-based event profiler, JBoss Profiler uses an agent written in C that captures events from the JVM and logs to disk. Administrators can then use a Web application running on JBoss to analyze these logs through a web browser.

Usage Notes:

Leveraging log files for analysis is especially useful when working with  server applications because JBoss Profiler can be run though a Web browser to analyze a remote machine (rather than requiring install on that machine).

Configuring JBossProfiler is just a matter of installing MBeans and adding a simple parameter to your JVM.
