Version 8.0 provides various improvements, changes and bug fixes. They include,
- A security bug fix to an package check failure with NoWaiverWrappers
- Various memory safety fixes that could have been exploited
- Add-ons will now be disabled by default when installed by third party applications
- Added additional HTML5 support
- Improvements to audio and video elements
