Derby 10.5.3.0 is a bug fix release which also contains localizations for messages added in previous releases. You’ll find:

  • A fix applied to a query that was returning results in the wrong order.
  • A fix applied to a NullPointerException in JMXManagementServce.unregisterMBean.
  • Important corrections in the Developer’s and Reference Guides.
  • Solutions to problems when closing a prepared statement with an embedded XAConnection.
  • Clob.truncate now presents a more specific error message for a negative length.
  • Replication tests now save derby.log and the database files when a failure occurs.
