Cactus for J2EE API 1.2

Description:

The Cactus for J2EE API 1.2 project provides a framework for unit testing server-side Java code in place. It's a JUnit extension that allows unit tests to run inside the servlet, EJB, and/or J2EE container for more accurate results. As a testing strategy, it usually fits between straight JUnit (white box testing with Mock objects) and HTTPUnit (black box functional testing).

Cactus for J2EE API 1.2 is composed of two main subcomponents which each provide some of the functionality, the Framework and the Integration Modules. The heart of Cactus for J2EE API 1.2, the Framework provides the API to write Cactus tests. The Cactus Integration Modules, front ends and frameworks, provide easy ways of using the Cactus Framework.

A good tool for testing EJB code in the container, select Cactus for J2EE API 1.2 if you're using JDK 1.2. Cactus for J2EE API 1.2 is also used by Maven.
