Version 5.4.0 is a maintenance release with many new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Highlights include:
- A security fix to a XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) vulnerability.
- The ability to delay and schedule message delivery.
- The ability to use HTML5 WebSockets to exchange messages with the broker from the browser.
- Improved OSGi support.
- An augmented shell script for starting, stopping, and managing the broker in a Unix environment.
- Simpler Web Console configuration.
- The ability to use selectors for Ajax and REST consumers.
